What each compound’s label says to do after a missed dose, or that it gives no rule. None says to double a dose to catch up.

- LabelTwice-daily label: skip a missed dose and take the next one as scheduled; never take it after a meal. Bydureon BCise label (weekly): take a missed dose if the next one is at least 3 days away; otherwise skip it.
- LiraglutideApproved drug
- LabelVictoza and Saxenda labels: skip the missed dose and take the next one as scheduled; don’t take an extra dose. If more than 3 days have passed, restart at 0.6 mg (Saxenda then repeats the weekly step-up) to limit GI side effects.

- LabelFoundayo label: take a missed dose as soon as possible, and don’t double the next one. If 7 or more doses in a row are missed, restart the step-up at a lower dose to limit stomach side effects.

- LabelWegovy label: if the next dose is more than 2 days (48 hours) away, take it as soon as possible. If it’s less than 2 days away, skip it. After 2 or more missed doses in a row, the current label says to restart at a lower dose and step up again. A missed Wegovy tablet is skipped; take the next one the next day.
