Mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, a 20 mg vial of Vesugen holds 10 mg/mL. A 1 mg dose is then 10 units (0.10 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe, and the vial holds about 20 doses of that size. Taken 1× per day, it lasts about 2.9 weeks.

- Community Injected: guides overlap at about 1 mg once daily for 10–20 days; the range runs from 200 mcg to 2 mg, and one guide lists 10 mg.
- Community Russian supplement forms: capsules or tablets by mouth for about a month; the under-the-tongue liquid’s directions are 5–6 drops 3–4 times a day before meals for 1 month.

There’s no single right amount: the water only sets the strength. With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, a 20 mg vial holds 10 mg/mL. With 1 mL it’s 20 mg/mL; with 3 mL it’s 6.667 mg/mL. Less liquid makes each dose a smaller draw; more makes small doses easier to measure.
How many units is 1 mg of Vesugen?
With 2 mL in a 20 mg vial, 1 mg is 10 units (0.10 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe. With 1 mL, 5 units (0.05 mL); with 3 mL, 15 units (0.15 mL).
