The short answer

Mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, a 15 mg vial of Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin holds 7.5 mg/mL (5 mg/mL Tesamorelin and 2.5 mg/mL Ipamorelin). A 1 mg Tesamorelin dose is then 20 units (0.20 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe, and the vial holds about 10 doses of that size. Taken 1× per day, it lasts about 10 days.

How much water

The water only sets the strength; the dose and the number of doses in the vial stay the same. Draws are on a U-100 insulin syringe, where 1 unit is 0.01 mL.

Where the doses come from

  • Community Dosed by the tesamorelin share, commonly 1 mg once daily in the evening, which carries 0.5 mg of ipamorelin.

Doses are what labels, trials or community reports reference, not recommendations. Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin’s page has the cycle, side effects, cautions and sources.

Questions

How much water do I add to a 15 mg vial of Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin?

There’s no single right amount: the water only sets the strength. With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, a 15 mg vial holds 7.5 mg/mL. With 1 mL it’s 15 mg/mL; with 3 mL it’s 5 mg/mL. Less liquid makes each dose a smaller draw; more makes small doses easier to measure.

How many units is 1 mg Tesamorelin of Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin?

With 2 mL in a 15 mg vial, 1 mg Tesamorelin is 20 units (0.20 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe. With 1 mL, 10 units (0.10 mL); with 3 mL, 30 units (0.30 mL).

How many doses are in a 15 mg vial of Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin?

About 10 doses of 1 mg Tesamorelin, or 6 of 1.5 mg or 5 of 2 mg. Taken 1× per day at 1 mg Tesamorelin, it lasts about 10 days.

How long does a mixed vial of Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin keep?

Mixed: 2–8 °C, use within about 4 weeks.
